Can Land Speak?
The tables are turned this week as Dr. Gruber interviews Dr. Cyndi Parker about her course Listening to the Land of the Bible. But why should we all care about geography? How does the land contribute to our theology?
What does it mean to listen as the land speaks? Dr. Parker gives specific examples of how understanding the land will help us all listen to the secrets it has to tell. We also hear about how knowing the land changes the way we understand who God is and what he wants from his people. Dr. Parker explains how the land of inheritance is a vulnerable place to live and how the land becomes an example to the people of how to trust God.
