This week I am in the hot seat as Dr. Yeshaya Gruber takes over the role of interviewer. We talk about my gospel-centric course Listening to the Land of the Bible Part 2, starting with two great questions. How do we "put Jesus in place"? How does the land tell us secrets?
What does it mean to listen as the land speaks? Dr. Parker gives specific examples of how understanding the land will help us all listen to the secrets it has to tell. And why is it important to know how the land influences the way people lived? Do we know a Jesus who lived inthe First Century or do we know a Jesus who comes from huge European cathedrals? Why should we know international politics of the day?
